ABout Me:
My name is Ellen Campbell and I am a student at Animas High School. I was born and raised in Durango Colorado. I began attending Animas High School in 2014, my junior year. I had transferred from Durango High School to Animas after my sophomore year. I love to mountain bike, road bike, and downhill ski. I have enjoyed the outdoors and adventuring since I was born.
I chose to come to Animas because I wanted to take my education into my own hands and go to school that embraced individuality through project based learning. Using readings, lectures and seminars, students are able to develop projects that dive deep into the subject. Each project is very unique to the student, allowing everyone to create something that they are passionate about and that they are proud of. The small culture at Animas allows each student to get the education that is necessary for the real world.
